Eastman MD815/V
The "F" style with F holes mandolin is purely American Design, Famously played by greats like Bill Monroe and David Grisman these mandolins has stood the test of time. The "F" style mandolin has some more ornate features than it's "A" style counterparts such as the hand carved scroll on the body, 2 points on the body and scrolls on the head stock. The MD315/V is a throw back to the originals made by Lloyd Loar and Orville Gibson with it's hand rubbed Varnish finish, Flower pot inlay, hand carved wood an highly figured select tone woods. This is a great mandolin to get into at a fraction of the price of similar "boutique" built mandolins.
